How to use?

Insert

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
  2. Fold the menstrual cup using the C-fold or punch-down fold.
  3. Get into a comfortable position and relax your muscles.
  4. Gently insert the folded cup with the rim facing up.
  5. Adjust the cup and check the seal with your finger.
  6. Empty the cup every 4-12 hours by gently pulling on the stem until you can reach the base.

Remove:

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly
  2. . Get into a comfortable position and relax your muscles.
  3. Gently pull on the stem to reach the base of the cup.
  4. Break the seal by squeezing the base or inserting a finger.
  5. Gently pull the cup out of your vagina.
  6. Empty and clean the cup before reinserting it.
  7. Repeat every 4-12 hours.

FAQ's

It’s a small, flexible cup made of 100% medical-grade silicone (platinum). It is inserted in the vagina and instead of absorbing your flow, like a tampon or pad, it collects it. After a couple of hours, you throw the menstrual blood collected, wash and reuse the cup again. Thus, one menstrual Q cup can be used for up to 5 years.

1. STERILIZE: Disinfect the cup before every use by washing with AmTrue Menstrual Cup Wash and then sterilize by putting it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes or by using AmTrue Menstrual Cup Sterilizer.
2. FOLD & HOLD: Take the cup with clean hands and fold its rim twice, holding it firmly between your thumb and forefinger.
3. INSERT: Hold the cup at an angle, aiming towards the base of your spine. Gently separate the labia with your free hand. Push the curved edge of the folded cup into the vaginal opening. Make sure you are relaxed while doing so.
4. REMOVE: With clean hands, reach for the base of the cup and pinch it to release the vacuum. Gripping the stem, gently pull it out.
